Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage thoroughly enjoyed doing his own stunts on his movie NATIONAL TREASURE - until he had to jump into New York's Hudson River.

Cage admits he wasn't thrilled about the idea of plunging into the river's waters, as he feared what he would swallow.

He says, "That was actually the scariest stunt of all. They said, 'We need you to take a couple of rounds of antibiotics for two weeks.' I said, 'Well, why?' They said, 'Because you're gonna swimming in the Hudson River in Manhattan.'

"That made me very nervous, because I had to jump in the river and I was afraid I was gonna swallow an amoeba or a floating protozoa, or something, and I'd be glowing."
