Cage Splashes Out Thousands On Shopping Spree

Nicolas Cage has splashed out $144,000 (GBP80,000) during a shopping spree with his new wife in London.

The OSCAR winner, 40, took a break from filming new movie NATIONAL TREASURE, to buy three $27,000 (GBP15,000) watches and spend $63,000 (GBP35,000) on clothes for his 20-year-old spouse ALICE KIM.

The couple also enjoyed a three night stay at the capital's luxury Savoy Hotel.

A source explains, "He was over here re-shooting scenes but he did a lot of shopping in the West End too.

"She also got him a watch for $21,600 (GBP12,000). But they really went to town on clothes at HARVEY NICKS."
