Cage Sells Beach Home

Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage has erased another trace of his brief marriage to Lisa Marie Presley by selling his home on California's Venice Beach.

The OSCAR-winning Leaving Las Vegas actor sold the three-bedroom home for $3.4 million (GBP2.1 million), after buying it early last year (02) for $2.7 million (GBP1.6 million).

Cage had owned the home - which boasts a screening room that opens out to the beach - for almost eight months when he put it up for lease at $35,000 (GBP21,875) a month. He married Presley soon after buying the house, but they were divorced by the time the luxury pad went up for sale.
