Busy Plant Rejects Grammy Criticism

LED ZEPPELIN singer ROBERT PLANT has hit back at his former bandmate JIMMY PAGE, after the guitarist criticised him for not being present when the legendary rockers were awarded a Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY AWARD earlier this year (FEB05).

WHOLE LOTTA LOVE star Plant, 56, is so busy with his current musical projects he decided against flying to Los Angeles for the award ceremony, preferring to rehearse with his new band in England.

Plant is keen to look to the future and not dwell on his celebrated past.

He says, "Jimmy had a bit of a go at me for not being there, but what can you do? What I'm doing now is more important to me.

"It's great to look back and smile. But middle-aged self-congratulation is very dangerous."
