Bryant Case Will Go To Trial

Basketball ace KOBE BRYANT will stand trial on sexual assault charges after a Colorado judge decided there was enough evidence against him.

Despite fears that the prosecution hadn't managed to come up with enough to stage a court attack on the LOS ANGELES LAKERS star following his alleged rape attack on a 19-year-old hotel assistant in June (03), JUDGE FREDERICK GANNETT has chosen to press on with a trial.

The Lakers star could face a life sentence if convicted. He will next appear in court on 10 November (03).
