Brazilian Guitarist Da Silva Dies
Brazilian guitarist HORONDINO JOSE DA SILVA has died in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 88. The musician, best known as Dino Seven Strings (Dino Sete Cordas), had been hospitalised suffering from pneumonia. Da Silva was a member of the famous Golden Epoch group of the 1960s who pioneered the musical style 'Choro'. He also performed alongside CARMEN MIRANDA.
