Brando Tops Gangster Poll
Late actor Marlon Brando has been voted the best movie gangster of all time, for his role in 1972 classic The Godfather.
In a poll for British cinema chain UCI, Brando's portrayal of DON VITO CORLEONE in director Francis Ford Coppola's classic topped the list.
Ironically, Robert De Niro's turn as the same character, a younger VITO CORLEONE, in prequel THE GODFATHER PART II was voted into second place.
Alongside The Godfather Part II, De Niro's turns in The Untouchables and Casino earnt him a total of three nods in the poll.
