Blur Cancel Intimate London Gig
British rockers BLUR have cancelled a London live show because they don't feel ready to perform on stage yet.
Remaining members DAMON ALBARN, ALEX JAMES and DAVE ROWNTREE - guitarist GRAHAM COXON was sacked in 2002 - had scheduled a last-minute gig at the Rhythm Factory in east London tomorrow (15DEC05).
But they have decided to concentrate on writing and recording new material for their eighth studio album.
A statement from the band reads: "The band ultimately felt they couldn't do justice to a full show right now, and want to concentrate on writing and recording instead."
