Blunt's Parents Demand School Fees Back

British singer JAMES BLUNT's parents have asked him to pay back the money they spent putting him through school.

The YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL singer, who changed the spelling of his surname from Blount to Blunt, went to prestigious private school Harrow, which charges parents $41,000 (GBP23,625) per year.

Blunt's debut album has made him wealthy, after selling more than four million copies, so his mother and father now want their investment back.

His dad CHARLIE BLOUNT says, "He's done frightfully well with all this pop music stuff.

"We're terribly proud. Apparently he's sold four million albums or something. That sounds very encouraging.

"We have decided that the time is right to ask him to repay us the considerable school fees we spent on him as a boy."
