Blunt Tops Singles And Album Chart For Third Week
British singer James Blunt is celebrating a double victory after topping the UK single and album charts for the third week running.
The former soldier's ballad YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL remained at number one, after eight weeks in the charts, while his debut album Back To Bedlam held off competition from COLDPLAY'S hit disc X+Y, which moved up one place to number two.
Canadian star Daniel Powter's new single BAD DAY debuted at number two, followed by SIR Elton John and late rapper 2PAC's hit GHETTO GOSPEL, which climbed one place to claim the third spot.
Hip hop hunk Eminem's new single ASS LIKE THAT entered the charts at number four, while R+B beauty Mariah Carey's WE BELONG TOGETHER slipped from second place to number five.
