Blues Star Dies After Fall

FOGHAT guitarist ROD PRICE has died at the age of 57 after falling down a stairway at his American home on Tuesday (22MAR05).

Price co-founded the British blues band who became one of the most popular boogie acts in 1970s America.

After years performing at sold-out venues, Price settled in Wilton, New Hampshire, America in 1994.

He was known as a loving father as well as an accomplished musician, having played with the likes of MUDDY WATERS, JOHN LEE HOOKER and WILLIE DIXON.
