Blink Rift Too Deep

BLINK 182 will never reunite because the rift between bandmembers has grown too deep, according to frontman TOM DELONGE.

The band announced a "indefinite hiatus" in February (05) after a tour of Europe in late 2004 proved particularly traumatic.

Delonge insists he needed to break away from the band for the sake of his family.

But he claims former bandmates TRAVIS BARKER and MARK HOPPUS don't believe him and are convinced he plotted to set up new band ANGELS AND AIRWAYS before breaking up Blink 182.

He says, "I don't think that either of those two guys would ever believe that I did this because I thought it was best for my family.

"I think, until the day we die, they will go to their graves thinking I did this because I had a master plan to make another band or do it by myself without them."
