Blaine's Reminder To Cheer Up
Magician David Blaine makes a note of enjoying his life a little more, after meeting a horde of underprivileged children over the Christmas holidays last year (02).
Blaine, who recently spent 44 days suspended above London's RIVER THAMES with only water for nutrition, decided to visit the children in New York after feeling so bad himself during the usually cheerful season.
He says, "Last year I was so down that I decided to spend Christmas Eve and New Year's Day at NYU MEDICAL CENTER. I did magic for the kids.
"They had nothing - not even relatives - and yet they were still smiling. It reminded me to cheer up."
