Blaine Clueless About Stunt

Magician David Blaine has absolutely no idea why he starved himself in a box for 44 days, despite drawing a curious world wide audience.

The illusionist's ABOVE THE BELOW stunt in London earlier this year (03) received a mixed reaction from the public - ranging from support and adoration to downright annoyance at what was perceived as his 'arrogance' in performing the act in Britain.

But Blaine himself admits that while money was not his motivation, he's not quite sure what was - other than an urge to seek thrills.

He says, "It wasn't a political statement. I don't really know why I did it.

"It's like riding fast on a motorbike. It was just a dream that I had one day and I did it."
