Blackman Fools Foreign Fans

Ageing glamour queen Honor Blackman has a huge fanbase in Eastern Europe - but she suspects her admirers are oblivious of how old she is.

The 77-year-old actress, who set male hearts a-flutter in 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger, is bemused by the barrage of mail from far-flung places, and she fears some ardent fans may be shocked to discover she is not the nubile beauty she once was.

She enthuses, "I get loads of fanmail from places such as Uzbekistan.

"They must have shown Goldfinger there recently."
