Bjork To Make Comeback At Japan's Live 8 Concert

Icelandic singer BJORK will make her first headline appearance on stage in two years at the Tokyo leg of next weekend's (02JUL05) LIVE 8 concert.

The IT'S OH SO QUIET star will perform at the 20,000-capacity Makuhari Messe stadium in Japan's capital along.

Other acts confirmed for the gig, the first show of seven to take place on the day to raise awareness of poverty in Africa, include US rockers GOOD CHARLOTTE.

Live 8 Japan organiser LILY SOBHANI says, "We can't believe the willingness of all involved to make this extraordinary event come together at such short notice.

"The line-up is fabulous and Live 8 Japan is hoping to be a momentous addition to the global series of events on 2 July."
