Billy's In The Right State Of Mind For Tonys
Billy Joel will kick off Sunday's (01JUN03) Tony Awards in New York by performing his classic NEW YORK STATE OF MIND from Times Square.
The event itself takes place at RADIO CITY HALL with musical Hairspray expected to sweep the board.
Meanwhile, grumpy nominee Paul Newman has told organisers he won't be attending because he hates awards shows and doesn't own a tuxedo.
