Better Late Than Never For Buffett

Cult rocker JIMMY BUFFETT has scored his first number one album in America - 30 years after making his chart debut.

The singer/songwriter has shocked record buyers and chart analysts by taking his LICENSE TO CHILL album to the top of the BILLBOARD 200 charts.

The disc has debuted at number one with impressive first week sales of 234,000 copies.

The country-flavoured album, which features KENNY CHESNEY and TOBY KEITH, has ended rapper LLOYD BANKS' two-week spell at the top of the charts.
