Ben Kingsley Proud Of His Knighthood

British thespian SIR BEN KINGSLEY is immensely proud of his knighthood - and loves being called "Sir Ben".

The OSCAR-winning actor was honoured by QUEEN ELIZABETH II in 2001's New Year's Honours list.

He says, "I love being called 'Sir Ben.' It's like being part of a wonderful clan.

"If I'm invited to speak by a charity and I'm introduced as 'Sir Ben,' I know everyone is listening in a slightly different way."
