Beckham Receives Apology For Encyclopedia Error

Soccer hunk David Beckham has received an apology from the PHILIPS ENCYCLOPEDIA who wrongly informed readers the hunky superstar plays for Italian team INTER MILAN.

Pop beauty Victoria Beckham's husband actually plays for Spain's REAL MADRID, but the book's red-faced editor, BILL HEMSLEY is unable to correct the mistake until the 2006 edition.

Hemsley says, "We hold our hands up. It was an error on our part. We don't know how it happened. We apologise. We don't normally make mistakes like this."
