Beckham Ditches Book Deal Over David's Scandal
Former SPICE GIRL VICTORIA BECKHAM has reportedly refused to pen a second volume of her best-selling autobiography - because writing about her husband DAVID's alleged affairs would distress her too much.
Victoria's 2001 tome LEARNING TO FLY was such a success, she had planned to write a second installment detailing her pop career, the birth of her second son ROMEO and her move to Madrid, Spain.
But the singer told publishers she wouldn't make another book because she doesn't want to discuss her former personal assistant REBECCA LOOS' claims she had an affair with the soccer superstar, reports Britain's DAILY STAR newspaper.
Victoria's close friend explains. "The deal was there and it was assumed it would all go ahead. But she is well aware that the first chapter most people will turn to is Rebecca Loos and herself."26/10/2004 02:41
