Beatles' Grammys Up For Sale

Two GRAMMY AWARDS won by THE BEATLES and bandmember SIR PAUL McCARTNEY are up for auction on Saturday (14AUG04).

The Fab Four won the golden trophy for A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, while McCartney is selling his accolade for the WINGS' track BAND ON THE RUN at an auction in Monterey, California.

Auctioneers predict the Beatles gong could pick up to $60,000 (GBP33,300) and McCartney's around $30,000 (GBP16,600).

Also up for sale in the GOLDEN GLOBE won for 1959 classic movie BEN HUR and a pair of sunglasses owned by McCartney's late bandmate JOHN LENNON.

A pair of boxing gloves worn by SYLVESTER STALLONE in ROCKY are expected to sell for $3,000 (GBP1,666).
