Beastie Boys Give Political Entertainment
The BEASTIE BOYS have devised an online video game for their fans to play - with a strong political slant.
The rap trio have launched a game called TRIPLE TROUBLE on the CAPITOL RECORDS website, which is an update of the classic arcade game FROGGER.
Players are challenged to navigate each band member - MIKE D on a bicycle, MCA on a skateboard and AD ROCK on a scooter - across a busy road to reach a political protest rally.
To get there, users must avoid crashing into likenesses of American President GEORGE W BUSH, Vice President DICK CHENEY, Secretary of Defence DONALD RUMSFELD and National Security Adviser CONDOLEEZA RICE.
The game's accompanying soundtrack stems from the group's latest album TO THE 5 BOROUGHS, which debuted this week (ends02JUL04) at number one on America's BILLBOARD 200.29/06/2004 21:07
