Sexy actress JENNIFER BEALS would love to have an onscreen lesbian romp with SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR - and the attraction is mutual.

The FLASHDANCE actress has become an icon after her steamy performances in lesbian TV show THE L WORD - and she has been clamouring for the programme's producers to bring the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER beauty on board.

The 41-year-old says, "I want Buffy - I want Sarah Michelle Gellar on the show. I've told (executive producer) ILENE CHAIKEN ad nauseam. She laughs and walks away.

"I'm going to try again this year, and we'll see what happens. It's set in LA, so Sarah could be herself."
