Bb King Backs Diabetes Songwriting Contest

Blues legend BB KING is lending his support to the fight against diabetes by backing a new songwriting contest.

The GIVE THE KING SOMETHING TO SING CONTEST is seeking blues ballad lyrics of 50 words or less which promote diabetes management, submitted by anyone whose life has been affected by the disease - a patient, caregiver or loved one.

The winner will scoop a trip for two to Las Vegas to attend a recording session where diabetes patient King will sing the song.

The contest will run from 1 November (04) to 31 December (04).
