Actress MISCHA BARTON is so clean-cut, she reportedly scorns cast and crew who swear on the set of her hit TV show THE OC.

And pals say the British-born beauty, 19, not only likes people's language to be clean, she also likes her workplace to be very tidy.

A source says, "Mischa absolutely hates swearing of any kind, and if she hears anyone cursing, she's in their face in a flash, saying, 'Is that any way to talk?'

"Mischa has admonished other cast members for gossiping on set and even picks up their half-drink soda cans. She's got a sweet streak a mile wide... but I think everyone finds she can be a bit of a prude!"
