Movie star DREW BARRYMORE is eyeing a back-up career as a travel journalist if her acting career ever goes awry.
The 50 FIRST DATES actress, 30, admits she doesn't get enough time to experience other cultures and learn about the outside world and believes reporting or a role with UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) would bring her closer to the less fortunate.
She says, "I actually love journalism. I would love to work for a travel magazine - get sent places and experience the world, people and cultures, and get smarter by getting outside my own environment. I think that's an interesting role.
"I'd also love to work for UNICEF. Actually a UNICEF magazine - that would be perfect."
