Barenaked Ladies Star Goes Solo With `tin Tin' Duffy
Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page is set to taste life alone this summer (05) after secretly recording a solo album under the name Vanity PROJECT.
The YOKO ONO singer has written and recorded tracks for the new album with former DURAN DURAN star and KISS ME hitmaker STEPHEN `TIN TIN' DUFFY.
Page tells ROLLING STONE magazine he first met British singer Duffy after confessing he once wrote him a fan letter when he was a teenager.
He explains, "Someone from the NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS came to interview him, and he introduced me as `a poet from Canada.'"
