Banks Credits Large Forehead For Modelling Success

Catwalk beauty Tyra Banks credits her large forehead for her success as a supermodel.

The statuesque stunner admits that when she was growing up, her features were made fun of by her classmates - but now she's made a fortune from the very body part which was mocked.

She says, "When we're in high school, the people that are 'the beautiful ones' are the cheerleaders and that kind beauty that everybody thinks is beautiful.

"Then that cheerleader, when she graduates, walks into a modelling agency and they're like, 'You're boring, it's too safe.' They want the people that are usually made fun of in school.

"I was made fun of for a big forehead. Then I walked into an agency and they were like, 'We wouldn't have signed if you (didn't have) that big forehead 'cause then you would have been looking like a cheerleader and... too normal.'"
