Bad Seeds' Creativity Thrives After Bargeld's Departure
Australian rocker NICK CAVE believes the departure of longtime BAD SEED guitarist BLIXA BARGELD has helped his band's creativity a great deal.
The RED RIGHT HAND star received an email last year (03) announcing Bargeld's plans to pursue other creative interests. And since his departure, the band has released the double album ABATTOIR BLUES/THE LYRE OF ORPHEUS and its members have experimented with different instruments during recording.
Cave says, "On one hand, I was very sad (about Bargeld's departure). On the other hand, it's just the way my mind works, but it immediately opened up an opportunity for us to do something different."28/10/2004 22:10
