Backstreet Boys Ditch Slushy Tracks
The members of the Backstreet Boys are assuring fans one element will be missing from their upcoming album - sappy love songs.
The five singers are currently in the studio recording their as-yet-untitled album, which they hope to release in the autumn (04) and accompany with a tour.
But bandmember Aj Mclean is keen to let his fans know that while they'll be singing about world issues and even sex, they're not planning on recording any teen-tinged love songs.
He says, "We're not talking about the 'I love you, you love me, goo-goo, gee-gee, ga-ga' stuff.
"For me, this is my first album totally sober. We've really matured."
