Audioslave Frontman Turns To Fashion

AUDIOSLAVE frontman CHRIS CORNELL has undergone an extreme career makeover, signing on as the face of John Varvatos' menswear line and opening a posh restaurant in Paris, France. The former SOUNDGARDEN singer launched his restaurant and bar, Black Calavados (BC), earlier this month (MAR06), during Paris Fashion Week. The notoriously reluctant heart-throb rubbed shoulders with the fashion superstars during the opening of BC, including JOHN GALLIANO and Balenciaga's NICHOLAS GHESQUIERE. The restaurant has become the new hotspot for supermodels and the fashion elite in Paris. The rocker will also perform at the designer's 4th Annual Stuart House Benefit in Beverly Hills, California.
