Attorney: Blake Was Framed

Robert Blake's attorney THOMAS MESEREAU claims the actor was framed for the murder of his wife BONNIE LEE BAKLEY - after learning police experts initially couldn't find blood on his client's clothes.

In the latest twist in the ongoing murder trial, Mesereau maintains Blake had none of Bakley's blood on his clothing at the murder scene.

Mesereau claims the blood was added later in a police laboratory, and is calling for an evidence-tampering investigation.

He says, "His clothing was saturated. Bonnie Bakley's blood went running here, there and everywhere and they took paper towels to mop it up and threw the paper towels towards Mr Blake's clothing.

"We had a witness who was observing and taking photographs of what went on."
