Liverpudlian girl band Atomic Kitten were showered with erotic sex toys by a secret admirer when they put in an appearance on a British children's television show on Saturday (4OCT03).

Jenny Frost, Natasha Hamilton and Liz McLarnon arrived on the set of CD:UK to perform new single BE WITH YOU, but were greeted by $7,200 (GBP4,500) worth of saucy goodies from retailer ANN SUMMERS on their arrival.

A spokesman for the band simply says, "There was a lot of giggling."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Ann Summers would not say who had sent the gifts, but hinted, "He is well known and has a very posh voice. One of his stipulations when he placed the order was that his identity must not be revealed."

Included in the haul were see-through, side-tie knickers, and a selection of vibrators.
