Atomic Kitten Natasha's Post-Natal Depression

ATOMIC KITTEN singer Natasha Hamilton has been diagnosed with post-natal depression, fourteen months after the birth of her baby boy JOSH.

The WHOLE AGAIN star will now take a break from her hectic pop career to recover.

Natasha's recent rapid weight loss sparked rumours she has an eating disorder - something she denies.

The 21-year-old says, "My doctor diagnosed me with post-natal depression and ordered me to take time off work.

"I wondered why I was feeling so down, I was crying a lot and everything got on top of me.

"I was surprised when the doctor told me, but glad to know I wasn't losing the plot. At least now I know I have something I can get over.

"Since giving birth I've taken off all the weight I put on when I was pregnant, about two-and-a-half stones. Because I lost it so quickly people thought I had an eating disorder, but I really don't.

"I couldn't understand why I was losing weight, but it's common with depression. Now I will take care of myself and get better.

"I don't know when I'll be back full-time but everyone's been supportive and told me to take as long as I need."
