Arquette Scalped By Lakers Conman

David Arquette missed out on joining celebrity pals Jack Nicholson and Denzel Washington at LOS ANGELES LAKERS' dramatic basketball play-off game on Tuesday night (11MAY04) when he was conned before the match.

The star thought he'd found a way to get into the vital playoff game between Lakers and SAN ANTONIO SPURS when he bought a ticket outside the STAPLES CENTER - but he was the victim of a conman.

Arquette says, "I scalped a ticket for 100 bucks and it was already scanned. I couldn't get in."

Nicholson and Washington did see the Lakers victory, along with LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, Adam Sandler, Ashton Kutcher and Steven Spielberg.
