Arnie Angers Politicians
Governor of California ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has enraged politicians by accusing them of creating "strange" law bills during days spent "without anything to do".
The TERMINATOR star - who's currently holidaying in Hawaii - is eager to set more deadlines for his staff, because he's discovered they work much more efficiently when time constraints are imposed and are less likely to concoct meaningless legislation.
He says of California's law-makers, "(They are) spending so much time in Sacramento, without anything to do, then out of that comes strange bills.
"Give them a short period of time, then good work gets done. That's when they start getting creative with things."
To demonstrate his frustration at the lack of work facing many of his employees, the former action star plans to make the California state legislature a part-time position.08/04/2004 02:32
