Former ALL SAINTS singer Natalie Appleton threatened to leave British reality TV show I'm a celebrity... GET ME OUT OF HERE on her first night (21NOV04) because she feared she's on the brink of a nervous breakdown.

The NEVER EVER beauty shocked fellow contestants, including THREE DEGREES singer Sheila Ferguson and ex-EAST 17 hunk Brian Harvey, by weeping hysterically and screaming that she hadn't slept for two days and was not mentally prepared to endure the gory survival show - in which contestants have to fend for themselves in the middle of the Australian outback for two weeks.

She complained, "I can't handle it. I've not slept for two days. I can't be Super-Nat, I'm not. I'm going home.

"This is not me, I don't think I've got the strength. I can't snap out of it. I'm not mentally prepared for it right now, I can't do it."
