Another Telethon For Hurricane Victims

America's Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has become the latest network to announce a Hurricane Katrina telethon.

Elvis Costello and his wife Diana Krall, Bette Midler, Paul Simon and James Taylor will be among the performers playing live on 17 September (05) as part of the project.

The telethon will also air live on radio and a CD of the highlights will be released shortly after the event.
