Andre Finally Signs A Contract

LATEST: Australian singer Peter Andre is set to sign a $1.8 million (GBP1 million) record deal with EAST WEST today (19MAR04).

The muscley star, who has rediscovered fame after starring on reality TV show I'm a celebrity... GET ME OUT OF HERE and the subsequent re-release of his 1996 hit MYSTERIOUS GIRL, which hit the number one spot in the British charts earlier this month (MAR04).

Andre has been in negotiations with industry bosses all week and will finally put pen to paper today.

A friend of the singer says, "Peter is very excited about the deal. It is a really big offer and the label have shown a huge amount of faith in him.

"They have no doubt his forthcoming album will be a big seller and INSANIA is pretty much a dead cert for number one."

Andre composed bizarre tune Insania during his Australian jungle stint, where he met new love, glamour model JORDAN.
