Allman Brothers Star Joins Kid Rock

Former ALLMAN BROTHERS guitarist DICKEY BETTS thrilled KID ROCK fans at a show in Los Angeles on Friday night (11FEB05) by joining the rap-rocker on stage.

Betts teamed up with Rock and his band on covers of The Allman Brothers' RAMBLIN' MAN and WHAT'D I'D SAY, which was a hit for RAY CHARLES.

After the HOUSE OF BLUES show, Betts told BILLBOARD.COM, "We have a bunch of mutual friends but I'd never actually met him (Kid Rock). I'd been looking forward to it for years."
