Alicia's Sunglasses Rule

Alicia Keys insists on wearing dark glasses when she's on a longhaul flight because she hates the thought of fellow passengers watching her as she sleeps.

The GRAMMY-winning soul star says wearing sunglasses indoors is a great perk to being a celebrity - because it saves her from constantly having to look bright eyed.

She explains, "(I love) the big dark ones that cover your whole grille. Those are my favourite. Not because I'm trying to be fabulous, but I love those big crazy JACKIE O shades.

"Especially on planes - you have every right to not want Tom, Dick and Harry in your nasty, sleep-crusty eyes."
