Albert: 'I Knew Love Child Wouldn't Stay A Secret'
European royal PRINCE ALBERT OF MONACO has broken his silence about his secret love child in his first TV interview since news broke of the scandal.
Albert, who took over his late father PRINCE RAINIER's throne earlier this year (05), appeared on CNN chat show host LARRY KING's programme last night (26OCT05).
The prince admitted he knew the scandal would break, but was surprised it took two years: "I felt as though it would come out at some point."
But Albert was still shocked when the news broke: "Obviously I didn't react very well to it... It was supposed to stay in a private domain for a very long time."
Albert's two-year-old love child, ALEXANDER, was born after a fling with a flight attendant.
