Alba's Shortlived Dancing Lessons

Sexy actress JESSICA ALBA gave up her dance classes on the same day she started them as a youngster - because she was taller and heavier than all of the girls.

The HONEY star admits she found the experience of learning among girls who were much smaller than her far too humiliating - so she quit immediately.

She says, "I took a dance class when I was 11 and it was a humiliating experience. I was 5-foot-4 or 5-foot-five - a foot taller and 20 pounds heavier than anyone my age.

"I was wearing the 'black leotard', and all the other girls in the class were wearing the 'pink leotards', which meant that they were wearing extra small and I was wearing large.

"It was embarrassing! I was so tall and awkward."

The 33 year-old actress looked better than ever by displayed her fit and toned physique in a revealing bikini and wet t-shirt, while seductively staring into the camera.

A lot of the pressure occurred when the 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' actress was attempting to figure out how to approach her acting career, and dealing with the harsh realities of being in showbiz.

"I was also really hungry, but so much of this business is fickle and such a crapshoot," she explained. "It chews you up and spits you out; it spits out a lot of people."

Alba also hinted at overcoming some severe personal issues during her past, and expressed how acting actually helped her "heal" in some ways.

"She's rad," she said of her acting coach. "She really believes that actors are here to tell stories and to heal people through healing themselves. And she believes every character is about you healing something in your life."

Although the mother of two will not go into detail about overcoming her insecurities, she did tell the mag, "I don't want to talk about my issues. But I definitely feel like I tackled something and came out the other side. Everything that led up to all this was worth it. I'm really comfortable in my own skin, and I'm not apologizing for myself."

People has already released one photograph of Simpson before she walked down the aisle, wearing a white veil. Simpson wore a custom made Carolina Herrera dress for her wedding whilst her makeup was done by Karen Mitchell and she was styled by Nicole Chavez. Chavez, speaking to the entertainment magazine, described the effort the whole team had put in for Simpson's special day. She said "It was a labour of love."

The couple married on Saturday (5th July) in a large ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. The couple were joined by 250 guests including their large families and famous friends such as actress Jessica Alba.

Jessica Simpson And Eric Johnson Get Choked Up Over Wedding Vows, Have Cutest Awkward Moment 4275964 News

Jessica Simpson’s wedding may have been a glamorous, star-studded event, but there’s always room for a little public embarrassment, as we all know from experience. The elder Simpson sister married her beau Eric Johnson on the 5th in San Isidro Ranch, California and said her vow in front of more than 250 attendees, including celebrities Jessica Alba, CaCee Cobb, Donald Faison, Topher Grace, Evan Ross, Ashlee Simpson and Cash Warren, E! reports.

Jessica Simpson
It may have taken a couple of tries, but Simpson and Johnson got there in the end.

The audience probably didn’t help when a visibly flustered Eric and his equally flustered Eric and his equally nervous blushing bride flubbed their vows… just a little bit though. When the 34-year-old groom started to recite his vows, he got obviously choked up and found it difficult to continue. He soldiered on though, and when it was time for Jessica’s vow, she had her own embarrassing moment.

Simpson and Johnson have been together since 2010.

Apparently, the bride got so flustered with emotions, that she accidentally said her own name in place of Johnson’s. Being Jessica Simpson, with almost 15 years of performing experience behind her, she reportedly laughed it off and just kept going with the vows. Obviously it worked since the two are now officially a family and couldn’t be happier, judging by the tweets and instagrams. Although to be fair, with four years together and two children, the couple are probably pretty familiar with family life already.

Ava Lord Is The Dame To Kill For in The 'Sin City 2' Trailer [Trailer + Pictures] 4241281 News

Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill for has a brand new trailer, featuring an extensive look at the predominantly black & white art-house, film-noir, super-violent, based-on the-comics-of-Frank-Miller, stylised thriller. It’s Sin City; let’s all kill this one dude.

Sin City 2Joseph Gordon Levitt has some revenge to take in Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven and Lady Gaga are all newcomers, while Micky Rourke, Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King and Powers Boothe are all returning to the franchise.

The trailer features nothing you wouldn’t expect; Joseph Gordon Levitt is a cavalier card player; Senator Rourke (Powers Boothe) is a supercilious monster whom everyone in the film wants dead, including Nancy (Alba) and Hartigan (Willis). At 2:25, there are more lines of scathing dialogue than in most movies put together. "Looks like trouble," Nancy says to Marv when confronted with a bunch of grunts. "Looks like Christmas."

One peculiar aspect of this new trailer comes right at the end when we see "Written by Frank Miller” pop up on screen. Miller and Rodriguez were supposedly sharing writing credits with William Monahan, so either The Departed writer is exactly that, or his suggests and contributions just didn’t make the cut.

It’s also weird because Miller’s reputation has shifted somewhat since the first Sin City arrived to mixed-to-positive reviews. The disaster that was The Spirit got people questioning his directing skills, while some aggressive, inflammatory and downright strange right-wing comments have left some fans feeling alienated. And any fans that weren’t left feeling ostracized probably started feeling that way when he started provoking and mocking fans of his work.

“Sin City” is very unique. It’s not just the visuals. It’s the story and how it’s told and Frank’s storytelling that works when you’re looking at it in a book or in a film. It works in any way, shape or form,” said Robert Rodriguez in an interview with MTV back in 2012.

“He’s just a great writer and visualist and storyteller with pictures in a way that’s different than what anyone else can think of. It’s so unique, and I think that’s why people keep asking for another “Sin City” in particular. In terms of just visuals and effects, yeah, it will evolve from the original, for sure.”

One more cheesy line of dialogue? Death is just like life in Sin City," said Bruce Willis’ character, Hartigan. "It always wins." Sin City: A Dame To Kill For hits theaters August 22nd.

It's all about revenge in Sin City now as the wounded (both physically and mentally) set out on a trail of death and destruction in a bid to make sure justice is served in their town. Dwight McCarthy is on another rescue mission to save an abused wife as Ava Lord claims she is a prisoner at the hands of her wealthy husband Damien. Unfortunately, it seems her intentions are of the dishonest kind. Thought to be have been executed, Marv wakes up among several corpses with little memory of his alleged crimes, but a strong desire for vengeance. Nancy is heartbroken to the point of insanity following  police officer John Hartigan's suicide, and there's no stopping her when she decides to sentence the father of child-killer Roark Junior, Senator Roark, to death. Notorious gambler Johnny is a newbie in the town with his own scores to settle, but it isn't long before he realises he's messing with criminals much bigger than him.

The second instalment of the 'Sin City' film franchise 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' is due for release nearly ten years following the 2005 original. Author of the original graphic novel Frank Miller ('300', 'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns', 'Daredevil: Born Again') has adapted the screenplay and co-directs the movie with Robert Rodriguez ('Machete', 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico', 'From Dusk Till Dawn'). 'Sin City 2' is set to hit UK screens on August 25th 2014.

Kris Jenner Instagram Hacker Tries To Make '#IhateKanye' Happen 4240217 News

In perhaps our favorite recent news story, Kris Jenner, matriarch and momager of the Kardashian Klan, had her Instagram account hacked. So, what did the sneaky hacker post? Were they a string of well-crafted witty parody posts, which saw ‘Kris’ acknowledge her reputation as a bit of a hard ass who will do anything to make her daughters famous? Errr, sort of, apart from the clever, well-crafted bit.

Kris Jenner Twitter HackKris Jenner's Twitter account was hacked into, she has since regained control of the account

One of the posts read: “So this happened today. Shout out to all my followers. I don’t like Kanye West. I just pretend I do so my daughters can make a profit. I can’t stand Kanye and I hate Karim…that’s French Montana. Anywho the first to #IhateKanye will get a follow.”

While Kris clearly didn’t write the tweet, it didn’t stop a few followers trying to get the hashtag off the ground. One Twitter user wrote, “don’t worry kris jenner I hate kanye too hes a self-centred annoying a**hole #ihatekanye”.

Kris has since regained use of her Instagram account and the messages have been deleted. She’s not the only celebrity that’s had her social media or email account hacked in the past, these other celebs have also had their privacy invaded by internet snoopers.

Vanessa Hudgens was first hacked back in 2007 when a set of nude photos hit the internet. At the time Hudgens was still a Disney star and had just starred in their hit movie High School Musical. She didn’t learn from the incident and in 2009 more nude photos were stolen from her emails. Notorious celebrity hacker Christopher Chaney turned out to be the culprit.

Hudgens wasn’t Chaney’s only victim. Both Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba were also hacked. Nude photos of Alba while she was pregnant were leaked while some topless photos of Scarlett Johannson, which she’d taken for then-husband Ryan Reynolds, hit the internet.

A close second in our favourite ever Twitter hacks was when Selena Gomez’s account was accessed and the hacker posted, “Oh yeh, JUSTIN BIEBER SUCKS!!!!!” Yes, we know hacking is wrong, but anything this funny is surely an exception?

Miley Cyrus should really be more careful about setting up her security questions in future. One savvy hacker simply searched for some information about the star on the internet and managed to answer her security questions, gaining access to her account.  Some racy photos of the star were leaked, but we have a funny feeling she wasn't all that concerned.

Kris Jenner Twitter Hack We doubt Miley was too troubled by the racy photos of her that were leaked

If anyone would be immune to a bit of hacking you’d think it would be internet brainiac Mark Zuckerberg. Apparently not! The Facebook CEO had his own Facebook account hacked, while the hacker posted a Facebook status. The status was later removed but received over 1,000 “Likes” while it was live. Oh, the irony.

Jessica Alba Hosts Baby Shower For Military Mums 4228832 News

Actress Jessica Alba helped throw a baby shower for a group of military mums on Tuesday (03Jun14).

The Sin City star hosted a party for over 30 members of U.S. Navy families stationed in San Diego, California ahead of their upcoming deployment.

Alba and her organisation The Honest Company partnered with officials at Operation Shower, a charity which provides baby celebrations for service members across the U.S.

Each family at the fete was given a month's supply of diapers and wipes from Alba's Honest Company, much to the delight of the mums and mums-to-be in attendance.

During the event, Alba explained, "Growing up in a military family and having many family members in the service, I saw first-hand how tough deployment is on families and the time apart is never easy for either party involved.

"I am so thrilled to join Operation Shower to reward these brave men and women as a small token of The Honest Company’s appreciation for their service and their sacrifices to help protect our country."

Alba's father Mark was part of the U.S. Air Force and the family moved around Mississippi, Texas and California during his service.
