Aguilera + Missy Rework Car Wash Anthem

Pop beauty Christina Aguilera is to team up with Missy Elliott to record a new version of disco classic CAR WASH for the new Dreamworks animated movie Shark Tale.

The ROSE ROYCE tune was a smash hit in 1977 after it was recorded as the theme of the film of the same name. It's not the first time Aguilera and Elliott have teamed up - the rapper co-produced the MOULIN ROUGE LADY MARMALADE hit which featured Aguilera, Pink, Mya and LIL' KIM.

The Shark Tale soundtrack will also feature Mary J Blige and Ziggy Marley, who will team up with reggae star Sean Paul to revisit his father's classic THREE LITTLE BIRDS.

Marley also features in the film - as a Rastafarian jellyfish. Other stars who lend their voices to the underwater characters in the movie include WILL SMITH, Angelina Jolie and Martin Scorsese.
