Actress Rhue Dies
05 January 2004Hollywood actress and multiple sclerosis activist Madlyn Rhue has died of pneumonia aged 68.
Rhue was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1977, but she refused to let the crippling disorder upset her career and continued to work in films and on TV until a decade ago.
She was a regular on TV series like GUNSMOKE and CHEYENNE in the 1950s and also appeared in MURDER, SHE WROTE and PERRY MASON later in her career.
Her film credits include IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, Mad World and OPERATION PETTICOAT.
