Actor Sues Jay-Z's Film Company
An actor from hip-hop star JAY-Z's 1998 movie STREETS IS WATCHING is suing Roc-A-Fella Records and Island Def Jam Music Group, claiming he was never paid for the job.
MALCOLM CRENSHAW, who appeared in four scenes in the autobiographical movie, has filed a $1 million (GBP550,000) lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court against both the record companies and Universal Music + Video Distribution, reports music site AllHipHop.com.

The rapper co-wrote the movie with record label executive DAMON DASH and screenwriter ABDUL MALIK ABBOTT.
