50 Cent Uses Album To Hit Back At Critics
American rapper 50 Cent has vowed to silence hip-hop rival Ja Rule with his new album THE MASSACRE.
The IN DA CLUB star is convinced the success of debut disc GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' has made him a marked man - but he plans to make a preemptive strike to silence his most outspoken of critics.
The 29-year-old, real name CURTIS JACKSON, says, "Hip-hop is competitive. Everyone wants to go after you. I was subjected to a lot of things said about me after the success of my first album.
"Generally, people love trouble, they will sink their teeth into these kind of tracks. If I don't address it, it may encourage (rivals) to be more disrespectful."
