50 Cent Goes Back To The Drawing Board
Rap superstar 50 CENT has scrapped his new solo album and is starting from scratch - because the work he's done isn't good enough.
The hip-hopper, who shot to fame last year (03) with his debut LP GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN', admits he has scrapped entire studio sessions for the eagerly awaited follow-up, jeopardising it's planned July (04) release - because they don't meet his high standards.
Cent says, "I wanted it to come out on the fourth of July, so I went in and made some records. And then I went back to listen to Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
"I said, 'I have to top this album in my head. I have to make a lot more records in preparation for a new LP than I had for Get Rich.'"
The new release is now expected to be ready in time for an October (04) release.
