50 Cent: 'Eminem Is Going To Be All Right'

LATEST: 50 CENT insists his mentor EMINEM will bounce back despite the recent death of best friend PROOF, and his impending second divorce from his wife KIM. The CANDY SHOP rapper recently attended the wake for slain rapper Proof, real name DESHAUN HOLTON, who was gunned down earlier this month (11APR06) at a nightclub Detroit nightclub. He says, "He's coming along. He's gonna be all right. I mean, it was definitely a big loss for him. "Proof was actually his best friend in the world from forever." The rapper insists that the sometimes violent lyrics in hip-hop music did not play a role in Proof's murder. He adds, "I think that the violence that happened to Proof and the violence that's happening across America right now has nothing to do with hip-hop. "It has something to do with the people - the state of them - and the music doesn't alter that."

Marshall you know all of your fans got your back and gon be behind you through all the ups and downs. I do believe you will bounce back but I understand that it takes time, when you lose someone that meant that much to you of that magnitude and in that way, only time and love can heal all the hurt and pain. The rap industry is making a living and they are doing what they love that's why people feel the need to look down upon them and all their supporters and fans. Partially because they hate their jobs and partially because they don't want to take the blame themselves. Violence, gangs and all this killing has got to stop, it's not helping anybody, only making people grieve and I feel sorry that America has come to that.I'm not an American, so I'm not going to sit here and judge but it seems as though even with all the protection and police, gangs and violence just seem to be increasing any and everywhere.I think it all has to do with how/who they were brought up, not where, but with who and how they were brought up. I think parents and guardians play a big role in all of this and if only they were willing to see that the rap/hip-hop industry and television and music are not "corrupting" their child as many so eloquently put it and see that they are the ones that stand between a child ending up in jail and then becoming a rapper, or a child going to college and then becoming a rapper.Parents CAN make a difference! Parents SHOULD make a difference!Once again my heart goes out to Marshall, stay strong boy, we're behind you and love you always. My condolenses go out again to Deshaun's family and I pray that you are keeping his memory alive with each day that passes. May he rest in peace.

I don't think the Rap Industry has anything to do with what's going on in this world when it comes to these shootings, stabbings, or rapes. Society has left young and old folks with to much stress and worries on their mine. With stress and worries comes headaches. When a person feels their backed up in corner they'll come out fighting. Sometimes they just come out fighting the wrong issues, the wrong way. My heart goes out to everyone who came in contact with Proof, his family, and friends. There is only one being that has the right to come take anyone home and we all know who that is. We need to get it right and be happy for anyone who has the ability to come up in the United States and make a name for theirself. Don't take anyone sunshine away because it'll only bring you rainy days. 50 I love you and the Rap game no matter what goes down and Eminem stay up.
